The 2025 deer season was a frustrating season for us. The large acorn crop made them difficult to pattern. On the other hand, our largest bucks disappeared right before gun season. How could they have been so difficult for us to see during bow season, yet so easy for someone else to take out during either late bow or gun season. We have some ideas why this may have happened, but we've thought we had it all figured out before.
After all of that complaining, we still have twelve photos here on the survivor bucks page and we're hoping the large acorn crop will show up in their antlers next fall.

We found this bucks antlers on March 26th. We didn't have a lot of pictures of him and he seems to have showed up well after the season.

I describe this buck as not big, but not small. Hoping for a big jump this year.

This may be the biggest buck that survived. We were still seeing this buck with both antlers in Mid March.

The buck with the broken beam tip. Helps us identify the different eight point bucks.

An eight point buck with a broken G3. We didn't get many pictures of this buck and without the broken G3 we probably wouldn't have noticed him.

This is another buck that could possibly be the biggest survivor buck. Hard to tell with what he is missing. Looking forward to seeing him this fall.

Another eight point we didn't get many pictures of. He has a lot of promise.

How about this nine point buck. He's a strange one!

Another seven point buck. We have a lot of pictures of this buck.

This eight point was a regular. He walked past us in the woods in January as thought we weren't there.

Here is another small eight point that was a regular on our cameras.

This wide eight point showed up right after the gun season, but we only saw him for a couple of weeks. Not 100% sure he was a survivor or a visitor.
